Amrut Fine Indian Dining, Leicester

A stunning Indian fine dining restaurant

Gloss Interiors were commissioned to transform an empty commercial premises into a beautiful, vibrant restaurant and bar, creating an inviting destination where guests could experience the authentic flavours and traditions of Indian fine dining with a contemporary twist.

The design concept was centred around capturing the richness, warmth and cultural heritage of India, combining traditional influences with modern styling to create a distinctive and memorable dining environment. A striking palette of deep teals, rich earthy tones and warm metallic accents was complemented by decorative lighting, intricate detailing, natural textures and statement mural artwork, bringing depth, character and atmosphere to the space.

A key feature of the design was the introduction of traditional Indian-inspired Machan beds, offering guests a unique and relaxed dining experience that celebrates the essence of Indian hospitality. These intimate seating areas were thoughtfully incorporated alongside a combination of bespoke fixed seating and freestanding dining furniture, creating a versatile layout that balances comfort, atmosphere and operational practicality.

Alongside the restaurant interiors, the brief included the design of a stylish bar area and a fully functioning commercial kitchen, ensuring the practical demands of a busy hospitality venue were carefully considered without compromising the overall aesthetic.

Gloss Interiors were also appointed to project manage the build and coordinate the contractors, overseeing the transformation from an empty shell through to the completed restaurant and ensuring the design vision was carried through every stage of the project.

The result is a welcoming and characterful dining destination that brings together authentic Indian influences, contemporary elegance and thoughtful commercial design, creating an immersive experience that extends far beyond the food.
